6PM Call: Strengthened Increase in Momentum - Update on Macroeconomics
Today’s market continued yesterday’s excitement by increasing 1.4%, ended up at 1,019 points after breaking through 1000 points yesterday. There was a similarity between the morning and afternoon sessions as the market slightly adjusted in early sessions then recovered and increased later. Overall, the large-cap group still played a major role in pushing up the market: PLX (+4.5%), GAS (+4.7%), BVH (+3.6%) and BHN (+4.8%). However, while yesterday’s excitement only gathered within the large-cap stocks, today’s movement spread out to the mid- and small-cap groups as well, with 198 gainers vs 103 decliners.
