The recovery of large-cap stocks, displayed primarily by the performance of the VN-30, helped the VN-Index to recover in the afternoon session (+0.03%/664.37 pts) despite the decrease of small and mid-cap stocks. However, the trading turnover continued to decline to only VND1,500 billion, the lowest level for this month. Banking stocks behaved quite differently after yesterday’s decline; ACB, MBB and SHB decreased while CTG, STB, and VCB increased.
