Market witnessed another fail attempt of the index to advance further, but the fact that it plunged in the last 5 minutes of the ATC session was unexpected. Selling orders were executed aggressively, with focus on a solid group, mostly brokerages (SSI, HCM, VND) and banks (BID, CTG, VCB, ACB, MBB, VPB), has raised doubts of a move from the big players. There were still a big number of gainers (125 to be exact) vs 173 decliners, but the VN-Index lost 2.47% compared to last week, closing at 1,093 points.
