Looking to 2H 2022, we are concerned that exports may decelerate compared to 1H 2022, but the economic reopening of China is a bright spot. · Vietnam’s shrimp exports in 1H 2022 grew by 31% YoY to reach USD 2.3 Bn. Similar to pangasius exports, shrimp export value in 2H 2022 could slow down mainly due to the oversupply in the US market. · Driven by industry tailwinds in 1H 2022, seafood companies, especially pangasius companies, have seen a strong growth in 1H 2022 results. |
