Analyst Pin-board: Summary of LTG's performance in 2019
Revenue of CPC in 2019 reached VND 5,142 billion, increasing by 1.6% YoY. As expected, the competition in the pesticide industry is becoming tougher because the market is gradually saturated and the trend of reducing the use of chemicals in agriculture to protect consumers' health. Therefore, LTG had to increase discounts in order to attract new customers and retain old customers. In fact, the revenue deduction rate of this segment in 2019 was 9.3%, higher than the 8% in 2018. Thus, the net revenue of the pesticide segment in 2019 was only VND 4,661 billion, not much change compared to 2018 revenue. In LTG's revenue structure, pesticides continued to make up the largest proportion of revenue at 56.1%, higher than 51.4% in 2018.
