Aviation Stocks Attracted a Lot of Investors

The VN-Index continued to move in a narrow range, and closed at 673.25 points (-0.2%). The market was quite dull overall, yet there were still highlights in some groups of stocks. Aviation stocks (NCT, NCS, SGN, SAS) rallied strongly during the past two sessions, similar to the previous rally experienced by rubber, beer, and coal stocks. The rally for aviation stocks was largely due to ACV’s plan to list on the UPCom next Monday. After ACV, Vietnam Airlines is scheduled to be listed on the UPCOM in December, and the shareholders will be finalized on November the 30th to prepare for the listing. Moreover, Vietjet Air also plans to IPO by the end of this year according the company’s latest statement.
