Low liquidity is still a concern

VN-Index rose at the very beginning of the morning session, and increased even further as the time goes on. Gainers overwhelmed decliners (153 versus 57). The blue chips such as VNM, VCB, GAS help lifting the market today, particularly, VNM also received huge demand from foreigners (over VND 108 billion). At the end of today session, both VN-Index, HN-Index and UPCOM-Index well with respective increases of 1.25%, 0.84% and 1.7%. Although markets rallied strongly, liquidity remained low with only 87 million shares trading on the HSX, equivalent to a turnover value of VND 1,800 billion.
