6PM Call: Market Sentiment Remains Negative - Update on PAC, CTF
​The decline of SAB, which has large influence on the index, worsen the market picture in the morning session. VN-Index lost more than 8 points, before the rise of banking stocks (VCB, MBB, and BID) in the afternoon session helped narrow down the lost. The VN-Index closed at 759.74 points (-0.28%) with very low liquidity of only VND2,600 billion . Although the points lost was small, the market sentiment was negative in overall. Decliners overwhelmed gainers, with many stocks falling sharply or even hit the ceiling, either stocks with good fundamentals (DMC, RAL, GMD, VFG), or speculation stocks (HAR, OGC, HHS).
