EME Strategy: WOOD Hunting for Yields – High dividend yielding stocks in the WOOD universe

The financial markets have been operating in a prolonged environment of very low interest rates. Under these circumstances, we believe that high dividend yielding stocks are likely to remain on investors’ radar screens. The WOOD universe is an ideal place to look for such investment opportunities, in our view: out of the seven emerging markets with the highest dividend yields, five are from our region.
In this report, we present WOOD’s Top BUY-rated stocks, which offer high 2016E and 2017E dividend yields (above 4%). We also present WOOD’s Top Large Picks List from our region – the high dividend yielding companies that are highly liquid (3M ADTV of minimum USD 1.0m); as well as WOOD’s Watch List – the companies that also offer a minimum 4% dividend yield, but are less liquid.
