WOOD Flash – NEPI Rockcastle: 1Q21 affected by lockdowns, but early indications after re-opening are encouraging
NEPI Rockcastle (NRP) has reported its 1Q21 trading update. Restrictions on trading were in place across much of CEE throughout the first quarter. Since then, the wave of gradual re-openings means that 96% of NRP’s GLA is now operational. The company collected 99% of its rental income for 2020, and 91% of the 1Q20 rents. Occupancy remained stable, at 95%, in 1Q21. Furthermore, NRP highlighted that it sees encouraging trends in footfall and sales, with both picking up strongly after re-opening.NEPI Rockcastle is engaged in developing, acquiring and holding commercial properties, either directly or indirectly through the acquisition of listed equities.
