Our two-day 9th virtual TMT Forum was attended by 32 listed companies and 292 investors. The trends in media seem to point to a correct start to the year. We are hosting our 9th ODDO BHF TMT Forum virtually on 6 and 7 March 2025. In total, 34 companies will be presenting during the forum. In the following note, we provide some initial feedback from companies on day 1. Out of the 21 feedbacks collected during the first day, 4 were clearly positive, and only 2 were negative. Among the positive names, we would particularly highlight Auto1, CMCOM, INDRA, KPN and Telecom Italia. Among the negative names, we would highlight Gamma and AT&S.
February was another good month for our top EM Telcos, now up 15% YTD on average. This note also includes key news & other thoughts in order to help investors generate alpha within the EM Telco space. With performance strong so far, we make no changes to our picks.
Vodacom hosted its Investor Day and outlined a bullish medium term guidance. The company endeavours to grow revenue and EBITDA at a CAGR of at least 6% and double digits respectively from FY25 through FY30. The topline trajectory is in-line with us and consensus while EBITDA guidance was well ahead. Compared to our current OpFCF forecasts, the numbers suggest at least 13%-18% upside.
