Quality Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:QSII), known to its clients as NextGen Healthcare, announced today the company’s direct messaging solution –Mirth Mail 2.10 – has achieved 2015 Edition ONC-ACB EHR Certification via Drummond Group LLC, an Authorized Certification Body (ACB).
The stamp of approval designates that the software is 2015 Edition certified electronic health record technology (CEHRT) and offers the functionality for eligible providers and hospitals to meet MIPS ACI and Meaningful Use Stage 3 requirements, qualifying these organizations to receive payments under the ongoing Quality Payment Program (QPP) and Meaningful Use (MU) EHR Incentive Programs.

The system is HIPAA-compliant and features on-boarding and registration capabilities, a webmail client interface, multi-tiered administration system, standards-compliant provider directory, and chat functionality.
Mirth Mail is used by the NextGen Share interoperability platform, one of the largest health information service providers (HISPs) in the nation, and a part of the DirectTrust collaborative. Using the NextGen Share directory, which surpassed the one million healthcare provider and facilities mark in late 2017, users have been able to send and receive more than 100 million direct secure messages to date.
