FRG: Drilling at Alotta Continues to Excite
What you need to know:
• This morning, FRG announced visual observations of mineralization from the first diamond drill hole of the Phase 2 2025 drill program (which recently commenced).
• Hole ALT-25-012 intersected polymetallic veins, with one vein containing numerous grains of visible gold. Assays remain pending.
• Drilling is currently underway at the Alimony Target, and FRG plans to drill an additional 3-4 holes as part of the Phase 2 program.
• The La Estrella Coal Project in Colombia is continuing to advance as planned (see below for more details).
This morning, Forge Resources Corp. (FRG:CSE, FRGGF:OTC) reported encouraging initial results from the first diamond drill hole of its Phase 2 2025 drill program at the Alotta gold-copper porphyry project. Drilling intersected polymetallic veins, including one containing multiple grains of coarse visible gold (see below, Hole ALT-25-012). Drilling is currently underway at the Alimony Target, with an additional three to four holes scheduled as part of this program. Work continues at the La Estrella Coal Project in Colombia. FRG also provided an update on the project on September 24th (more details below). We are maintaining our BUY rating and a target price of $1.00/share on FRG.
Highlights from today’s release:
• At the Payoff Zone, hole ALT-25-012, collared ~200m west of prior drilling, intersected visible gold in a sulphide-rich quartz vein (Figure 2)
• Drilling has now tested the lower Payoff Zone over 500m, with all holes intercepting porphyry and vein-style mineralization
• ALT-25-012 also returned quartz sulphide veining and near-surface polymetallic veins with arsenopyrite and sphalerite
• Drilling has started at the Alimony Target, an untested 300m by 500m gold-molybdenum soil anomaly ~800m northwest of the Payoff Zone
