TURKCELL 1Q19 Earnings: In line results, 2019 guidance upped slightly

Turkcell reported a net income of TL1,224mn in 1Q19, up by 145% y/y, (cons.: TL1,213mn, BGC: TL1,303mn), supported by TL772.4mn one-off income (after tax) from the sale of Fintur and stable operational profitability. TL's weakness and soaring interest rates had some negative impact on financial costs, as expected.

GSM offers a range of services that include voice, circuit switched data, packet data and fax, in addition to standard service offerings such as call barring, call forwarding, call waiting and roaming into areas serviced by other GSM carriers.
