Desert Gold Ventures is a West Africa-focused gold company transitioning from exploration optionality toward near-term development and production. In Mali, the company controls the 440 km² Senegal Mali Shear Zone project, which hosts 336,800 oz of Measured & Indicated resources and 879,900 oz of Inferred resources, or roughly 1.22 Moz of gold. The updated NI 43-101 PEA for the Barani and Gourbassi deposits outlines a 10-year open-pit oxide operation processing about 36 ktpm. At US$2,850/oz gold, the project generates an after-tax NPV10 of US$61 million, a 57% IRR, and a 2.5-year payback. At US$4,070/oz, after-tax NPV10 in-creases to US$124 million, with a 101% IRR and 2.1-year payback. In parallel, Desert Gold is advancing a staged gravity plant at Barani East, providing a financed route to first gold and potential internally generated cash flow. In Côte d’Ivoire, the 297 km² Tiegba project adds district-scale exploration upside, covering a never-drilled, multi-kilometer gold-in-soil system near existing mines and infrastructure. Together, these assets give Desert Gold a balanced profile of near-term production potential, development leverage, and blue-sky exploration up-side.
