Co.'s Lactic acid operations involve the production of lactic acid and lactic acid derivatives which are used in food, pharmaceutical and technical products. Co. operates mostly in Europe and North America. Co.'s brands are Waldkorn, Kate's cakes, Purac, Carel, MeisterMarken.

Through Fagron, Co. offers products and concepts for pharmaceutical compounding. Through Arseus Dental, Co. supplies dental products and concepts to dentists and dental laboratories in Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Germany and Switzerland. Through Arseus Medical, Co. supplies medical and surgical products to specialists, elderly homes, homecare nurses and hospitals in Belgium and the Netherlands. Through Corilus, Co. supplies ICT total solutions for medical specialists in Belgium, the Netherlands and France.
Inventiva is a clinical stage biotechnology research company delivering therapies in the areas of oncology, fibrosis and rare diseases. The most advanced clinical programs (IVA337 for systemic sclerosis in Non-Alcoholic Steato-Hepatitis and IVA336 for Maroteaux-Lamy syndrome-MPS VI) have demonstrated efficacy in relevant in vivo and in vitro models as well as safety in phase I and phase II clinical trials. Using its in-house drug discovery platform, which covers target validation, screening, chemistry, ADME and pharmacology, Co. is developing an internal oncology and fibrosis discovery pipeline with approaches centered on transcription factors, epigenetics targets and nuclear receptors.
SBM Offshore is a holding company. Co. provides floating production solutions to the offshore energy industry, over the full product life-cycle. Co.'s main activities are the design, supply, installation, operation and life extension of floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessels. Other products include semi-submersibles, tension-leg platforms, floating production storage and offloading liquefied natural gas, turret mooring systems, brownfield and offshore (off) loading terminals. As of Dec 31 2015, Co.'s fleet consisted of 10 FPSOs, two floating storage and offloadings, one mobile offshore production unit, one semisubmersible in operation worldwide.
