Melexis FIRST LOOK : China strategy now enters a new phase
Melexis announced the next step in its China strategy – a move designed to further strengthen its commitment to the rapidly growing and innovative Chinese market: expanding on its existing operations by establishing a locally embedded logistics hub and end-to-end local manufacturing in China. Melexis indicated that the strategy represents a significant enhancement that reinforces their customer-first philosophy. With this announcement, Melexis continues and even expands its strategic roadmap in China. With a next step Melexis will see new products coming from its Chinese wafer manufacturer from early 2026, helping to improve lead times. Melexis indicated that this is especially critical in this fast-growing market, and its existing customers have already responded favorably.We welcome to see Melexis' increased focus on China with China's growing importance.
Melexis designs, develops, tests and markets advanced integrated circuits primarily for the automotive industry. Co. sells its products to a wide customer base in the automotive, medical and industrial markets in Europe, Asia and North America. Co.'s main products are Hall effect ICs, Pressure and Acceleration Sensors, Sensor Interface ICs, Automotive Systems-on-a-Chip, Embedded Microcontrollers, Bus System Chips, Optical and Infrared sensors.
