Arista Still Grows Among Cloud Titans, but Foresees Modest Margin Deterioration; Maintain $207 FVE
Arista Networks reported impressive first-quarter results that were slightly better than our expectations, but its second-quarter forecast points to modest gross margin and operating margin deleverage. Management had expected the quarter’s growth to not be quite up to par with its recent 50% year-over-year growth streak, but the firm’s 41% growth in the March quarter was quite impressive. EOS supports cloud and virtualization solutions, including VMware NSX, Microsoft System Center, OpenStack and other cloud management frameworks.
