Core Labs Reports 4Q Earnings; North America Performance Shows Signs of Recovery
Core Labs reported fourth-quarter earnings, on Jan. 25 that were nearly in line with management's quoted guidance. Revenue increased approximately 4%, over the quarter, on the back of solid growth from the production enhancement group. Evidence of an early recovery could be found in the 13% growth in U.S. land-based revenue. Margins expanded nearly 350 basis points to 7%, for production enhancement, and the company noted that it expects margins to climb 60% as activity recovers.
