Eldorado Finally Receives Arbitration Notification From Greek Government, but No Change to Our View
On Sept. 14, Eldorado Gold announced that it had finally received the formal notice for domestic arbitration from the Greek Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Environment and Energy. With arbitration having been initially mentioned by the Environment and Energy Minister in April, it’s nice to see the process finally begin after months of signaling. It’s frustrating to see the government make another attempt at hindering the mines’ development.
