Lower Repair Costs Drive Honda's Strong Fiscal Third-Quarter Results and Large Guidance Increase

We are not changing our moat or fair value estimate after incorporating Honda’s fiscal 2017 third-quarter results into our model. The company overcame a 3.2% year-over- year decline in total company revenue (up 6.1% excluding currency) to grow operating profit 27.4% and EPS by 35.9% to JPY 93.67.
