Narrow-moat Kraft Heinz’s top-line trajectory again deteriorated to start fiscal 2018. Organic sales eroded 1.5% (as a 2.5% retreat in volumes was only partially offset by a 1% uptick in price), a particularly weak outcome, given that this came on top of a 3% decline a year ago.
