Lenovo Is Raising HKD 3.9 Billion From Parent Legend and Senior Management; FVE Remains at HKD 5.00
On Sept. 29, Lenovo announced that it will raise a total of HKD 3.9 billion (around USD 500 million) by issuing 906 million new shares at price of HKD 4.31 per subscription share to Union Star Limited, a joint venture owned by its parent company (Legend Holdings) and its senior management. Lenovo will also issue 90.6 million units of bonus warrants to the subscribers with an initial exercise price of HKD 5.17 per share, or 1.14 times the current market price.
