Merck’s announcement to withdraw the European application for Keytruda plus Alimta in first-line nonsquamous non-small cell lung cancer, or NSCLC, is in line with our expectations, as we view the European regulators as holding a higher bar for approval than the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, or FDA.
