Oracle’s Analyst Day Big on Buzzwords, but We’re Not Changing our Tune; Maintain $46 FVE
Oracle held a financial analyst day in conjunction with its OpenWorld conference, and management continued to push themes such as cloud and database superiority as critical long-term drivers of the business. The company announced several services tied to some of the biggest buzzwords in software engineering today, including an autonomous database service and blockchain-as-a-service, but we failed to see any announcements that yielded a material change to our view of the company’s competitive pos...Oracle provides products and services that address enterprise information technology (IT) environments.
