Rumors Arise of Seagate Technology-SK Hynix Joint Venture; Shares Overvalued
On Dec. 13, Taiwanese newspaper company Digitimes reported that Seagate Technology and SK Hynix have possibly formed a joint venture to develop solid-state drives (SSDs) for enterprise servers and data centers. We note that neither Seagate nor SK Hynix have released any sort of confirmation regarding this rumored partnership.
