SGX Posts Weak First-Quarter Fiscal 2017 Result on Subdued Investment Appetite

Singapore Exchange posted a weak first quarter to begin fiscal 2017 as global uncertainty resulted in subdued investment appetite. The referendum in the United Kingdom, the impending increase in U.S. interest rates, and the upcoming U.S. presidential election contributed to the weaker trading environment.
