UCB’s Third-Quarter Performance Remains in Line With Our Expectations
UCB’s brief third-quarter trading note revealed that the company continues to track our full-year expectations. We do not plan on updating our EUR 68 per share fair value estimate. While UCB’s nine-month sales for its core products increased 12% relative to last year, we believe the company’s light drug pipeline does not merit an economic moat. In our opinion, the company may need to turn to acquisitions in order to spruce up its lackluster pipeline.
