SingTel has announced conditional share-purchase agreements with Temasek to acquire 21% of Intouch Holdings and 7.39% of Bharti Telecom for a total consideration of SGD 2.47 billion. Intouch’s key asset is a 40.45% stake in Thai mobile operator AIS, in which Singtel already owns a direct 23.3% stake.
