Are there reasons other than health that explain why the US economy is more resilient than the European economy to the COVID crisis?

Growth figures in 2020 show that the US economy is more resilient than the European economy to the pandemic. One of the advantages of the United States is its size, which explains why not all US regions are affected at the same time. But we seek to determine whether there are also economic explanations for the better resilience of the US economy. This may include : A larger fiscal deficit and greater income transfers to households in the United States; The larger technology sector in the United States, which is not suffering from the crisis, on the contrary in fact; Less uncertainty about the future, which would boost household housing investment and corporate investment; A smaller reaction by the US economy to the decline in global trade, since the United States has an economy that is less open than the euro zone.
