Are there signs of a shift to a high-inflation equilibrium in the United States and the euro zone?

When economies move from a low-inflation equilibrium to a high-inflation equilibrium: Relative price increases ( e.g. commodities) turn into domestic inflation. The degree to which wages are indexed to prices increases. Prices of all goods and services (in all business sectors) rise. These developments can now be seen very widely in the United States and the euro zone. We are well on our way to a high - inflation regime.
