Bottlenecks are giving way to highly responsive supply
The post-COVID economic recovery has given rise to many bottlenecks (energy, other commodities, semiconductors, shipping). These bottlenecks appeared mainly because the structure of demand skewed heavily from services to goods. But what is remarkable is the responsiveness of supply (of natural gas and even oil, metals, semiconductors, maritime transport ), which is rapidly eliminating the bottlenecks and accompanying price increases.
