BREXIT: ENGLISH HORROR MOVIE

Edito Brexit is stressful, economically divisive and politically destructive. We see this portmanteau word an incalculable number of times daily in the British press. More and more alarmist predictions are being made at an ever higher pace... on lines of trucks at Dover and Calais, on shortages of food and medicine, on factory closures. On March 12, the withdrawal agreement will again be presented to the British members of Parliament, who should—unless there’s a surprise turn of events—reject it. On the 13th, they will also reject the idea of a no-deal Brexit. On the 14th, they should come out in favor of an extension to article 50, and therefore prolonged uncertainty and more fantasies of the kind mentioned above. Ho rror movie fans have a lot to be excited about.
