We see: In the United States, rapid productivity growth; In the euro zone, declining productivity; I n France, declining productivity. What accounts for these developments? A different reaction to hiring difficulties. In the United States, they are pushing companies to improve productivity. In the euro zone and France, working hours are declining, which may be due to the desire to improve working conditions to attract employees.
