Costs of Brexit: The capital that has become useless and the sectoral reallocation of jobs must also be taken into account

When estimating the costs of Brexit for the United Kingdom, analysts most often look at the effects of a "hard" (no deal) Brexit on: Exports, Immigration, Investment, The exchange rate . And yet, the main costs related to a no deal Brexit would probably be related to the fact that: Part of industrial capital will become unusable due to the disappearance of the factories that served the European or global market; The jobs lost in the sectors that will lose production because of Brexit will have to be reallocated to other sectors, which may be costly and difficult.
