Could the Italian crisis significantly slow down euro-zone growth?

We are now seeing a sharp rise in interest rates and a marked deterioration in financial markets in Italy. Could the Italian crisis significantly slow down euro-zone growth? The mechanisms that could lead to a sharp decline in euro-zone growth are: A rise in banks' funding costs; A decline in activity in Italy due to the rise in interest rates that leads to a slowdown in exports to Italy; Rising uncertainty ( about Italian exit from the euro zone, etc.) that may reduce investments.
