Curiously, the highly questionable policies in the United States are having positive effects on the global economy
The first highly questionable, very abnormal policy pursued in the United States is the continual skewing of income distribution against employees, which has led to rising inequality and poverty in the United States. However, since it has kept wage increases and inflation low in the United States, it has led to persistently low dollar interest rates, which is positive for other countries, particularly emerging countries. The second highly questionable policy conducted in the United States is the pro-fossil fuel policy, which allows for a rapid increase in US oil production but which runs counter to the climate targets. But it must be recognised that its consequence, persistently low oil prices, has stimulate d growth in many countries: Europe, Japan, non-oil-exporting emerging countries (including China and India).
