During which periods has China been inflationary (disinflationary) for the rest of the global economy?

China is inflationary (disinflationary) for the rest of the global economy when: Chinese producer prices rise (do not rise); The renminbi appreciates (depreciates); China’s strong (weak) growth drives up (down) commodity prices. We see that China has been : Inflationary for the global economy from 2003 to 2008, in 2010-2011 and in 2017; Disinflationary for the global economy from 1998 to 2002, in 2009, from 2012 to 2016 and in 2018-2019.
