ECB meeting: “The lady isn’t tapering”
The main news from today’s ECB meeting was a “moderate ly lower” pace of purchases under the PEPP program. President Lagarde stressed that this “recalibration” of purchases should not be misread as tapering. Whether the ECB will spend the full envelope of the PEPP will be decided at the December meeting.
