Euro Area : Flash Estimate of Headline Inflation at 1.4%
In January the flash estimate headline inflation, as expected by consensus, reached 1.4% from 1.6% in December, while core inflation (excluding food and energy, alcohol and tobacco) surprised on the upside and increased by 10 bps, now reading 1.2%.
