Euro area: growth accelerates and core inflation slows
Euro area sequential GDP growth accelerated to +0.3%qoq in Q1:24 , ending the stagnation that had lasted throughout last year. Headline inflation was stable at 2.4% in April. Core inflation, however, declined further to 2. 7 % on lower readings for services and goods inflation.
