Euro Area inflation in September reached 3.4%
In September, according to Eurostat flash estimate of consumer prices, inflation reached 3.4 % (+ 0.4 % M/M). The core index (excluding energy, food, alcohol, and tobacco) increased by 0.5 % M/M and 1.9 % YoY. Thus, consumer prices have continued to accelerate in line with expectations .
