Euro Area inflation slowed in March
In March 2024, inflation in the Euro Area slowed to 2.4% from 2.6% in February. Core inflation, excluding energy and food prices, decreased by 0.2 points to reach 2.9%. Service prices continue to rise rapidly at 4% on a year-on-year basis for the fifth consecutive month. Prices of non-processed foods decreased by -0.4% on a year-on-year basis.
