Euro area: PMIs signal re-acceleration
The November PMIs surprised to the upside, signaling that the euro area was re-gaining momentum at the end of the year. The services and manufacturing sector both recorded an increase. Although the survey also suggests that the supply bottlenecks in the manufacturing sector have not gotten smaller, the November figure s show that companies are nevertheless confident to grow their output at a solid rate.
