Euro-Nownat update: growth predictions slighly increase at the beginning of 2020

With stable December PMIs, Euro-NowNat has now slightly revised down its forecast for the euro area growth outlook for the last quarter of the year , but revised up its expectations for the first quarter next year (0.04% for Q4 2019 , 0.15% for Q1 2020). We have now expanded the forecast horizon to Q2 2020. The model forecasts growth of 0.22% suggesting a gradual improvement . We also update our Financial Conditions Index: financial conditions move sideways, remaining at record lows .
