Euro zone: Something always happens that prevents the ECB from ending its negative interest rate policy

Even if the ECB wanted to get out of negative interest rates, it has continuously been prevented from doing so: In 2019 by the industrial recession; In 2020 by the coronavirus. The same effect may occur in the future (2021-2022): A lasting weakening of China's growth, and therefore of global trade; Enduring problems for Germany; The need to finance the energy transition at very low interest rates. The turmoil resulting from negative interest rates will then gain momentum.
