In 2019 , Donald Trump’s supporters in the United States will see: Sluggish growth due to the return to full employment and the negative wealth effects linked to the fall in share prices; A related slowdown in job creation; An increase in the US external deficit, including with China, due to the expansionary fiscal policy at full employment and the ineffectiveness of protectionism; The persistent inability of US industrial production capacity to meet demand; A slump in share prices; And perhaps, due to the decline in residential construction, falling real estate prices. Even Donald Trump’s supporters will see the deterioration in the US economy and the wealth losses.
