For how long do financial markets believe that interest rates will be so low? Are their expectations realistic?

We look at the outlook for short- and long-term interest rates in the United States and the euro zone. Financial markets are seeing very low interest rates: In the United States, at least until 2021 as regards short-term interest rates, and at least until 2022 as regards long-term interest rates; In the euro zone, at least until 2021 as regards short-term interest rates, and at least until 2022 as regards long-term interest rates; Is this view reasonable ? We have to look at the outlook for growth and inflation in the United States and the euro zone. Indeed, it seems that the cyclical slowdown and low inflation are set to last .
