German 2018 annual growth announced at 1.5%Â : Recession risk down
The Federal Statistical Office ( Destatis ) announced that the price adjusted gross domestic product was 1.5% higher in 2018 than the previous year . Although the Q4 GDP figure will be released only mid-February, t his is consistent with a GDP 2018Q4 quarterly gro wth rate ranging between a value slightly higher than 0 to 0.4%.
