German elections: A recalibration of politics, but no radical change

The results o f the G erman general elections brought no clear winner, but a so-called traffic-light coalition between the Social Democrats (SPD), Greens, and the Liberal (FDP) seems now the most likely outcome of the upcoming coalition talks. If true , this would imply that German politics will make a moderate move to the left, although the Liberals will prevent any dramatic change in tax policy.
